Salamati

Salamati is a smart medical portable yet affordable device that generates and communicates on real time basis, to doctors or caregivers, the patients’ vital signs.
Salamati’s hardware is made of two parts: a patch that will be attached to the user chest and a bracelet. Both are wirelessly connected to each other and to the device’s own mobile application. It monitors patients’ ECG, heart rate, body temperature, and SPO2. In the coming prototype, we will join the two hardware into one hardware part a smart bracelet.
The mobile application will be displaying all the patient’s data, saving it in the database and notifying the patient and the doctor with an alert for any abnormality. Also, a communication between them can be established through it since each of them will log in to the application in different kind of user one for patients and another for doctors or caregivers. Each user is designed in a way to give that gives the needed service to the specific user.
What makes Salamati different, is that it comparing it to other monitoring devices (wearables), is that it can deliver the data, especially the ECG, at real time remotely through its application to the patient’s doctor while taking all these types of vital signs from the same device. Furthermore, our plan is to develop the device and its mobile application in a unique way to make it user friendly and to allow anyone with any background to use it.
